Captain Duffy has been making huge gains recently with another excellent win at Morphettville on the 28th October 2017 in the James Boag’s Handicap (Heat 8 Spring Stayers Series). Jockey Chris Caserta ensured a win and we look forward to the upcoming races at Flemington which include the James Boag’s Premium Stakes on the 7th November and the Twitter Trophy on the 9th November!
Captain Duffy Wins at Morphettville 14 October 2017
Captain Duffy took first place at Morphettville on the 14th October 2017 with the apprentice Chris Caserta!
Captain Duffy is trained by Phillip Stokes and we are excited to see him head to the Melbourne Spring Carnival!
Snake Charmer Wins Twice at Morphettville
An exciting start to the month for us here at Ultra Thoroughbreds as our mare Snake Charmer won twice at Morphettville on the 1st October and the 8th October. A really impressive start to the Spring racing calendar. Snake Charmer is trained by the outstanding Phillip Stokes and ridden by jockey Emily Finnegan. We are very much looking forward to the Spring Racing Carnival in a few weeks!
Recent wins at Morphettville and new additions
It has been a busy start to the year for Sean Buckley and Ultra Racing! There have been some fantastic wins by a selection of thoroughbred horses at Morphettville including:

- Typhoon Witness
- Colonel Custer
We have also made a significant purchase of a colt out of Savabeel at the Karaka 2016 Premier Sale at Little Avondale Stud.
Defiant Angel wins the Quayclean Handicap at Morphettville
Defiant Angel finished 1st at the Quayclean Handicap (1600m) at Morphettville on the 2nd January 2016. A great start to the year for the 6YO, ridden well by Ms E Finnegan, with a prize of $32,000. It has been a promising start to 2016 for Sean Buckley and the Ultra Thoroughbreds team.
